Pros

The majority of people are incredibly friendly and welcoming; they genuinely try to stay positive, make the best of work, and always support one another. This is often the main reason why people stay at the company.

Cons

An overwhelmingly negative experience. The company has no respect for work-life balance; overtime is expected multiple times a week and normalized within teams - it’s looked down upon if you don’t stay as late as your peers. You will not be compensated for overtime hours and you have to push hard to get back any extra hours you’ve put in. There is no support or development for employees as there is simply no time for anybody to spend on that. Directors are overworked and overwhelmed, so don’t expect mentorship or even the time to catch their breath. Instead of investing in training or helping team members grow, the company takes the easy route by frequently firing people unjustified and with no warning. Firings happen almost every 2 weeks, leaving everyone living in fear and unsure if they’ll be the next to go. In many cases, a lot of people seem to know who's being let go before the news even reaches the person involved. The physical environment is just as soul-sucking as the culture. The offices are ugly, uninspiring, and feel more like a call centre than a creative agency – no colour or personalisation, even when requested. Employees are forced to eat at their desks due to the absence of a proper break space, again, despite numerous requests for one. There’s a clear divide between directors and the rest of the team. Directors maintain an air of superiority, and there’s a tight-knit clique that heavily influences success within the company. If you’re not part of this inner circle, your likeability and growth is severely limited. The office environment is filled with gossip, favouritism, and unprofessional behaviour, including disparaging remarks about clients and team members behind closed doors. HR is aware of these issues within the company, but the directors hold too much power for any changes to be made. The result is a workplace where burnout, stress, and anxiety are common, with little to no recognition or appreciation. Turnover is high, and the toxic environment makes it hard for anyone to stay for long. Dragons is a place where your mental health will be sacrificed on the altar of unreasonable demands, where cliques and favouritism dictate your career, and where the depressing office reflects the toxic culture. Save yourself the misery and look elsewhere. Btw, the positive reviews here? Churned out by HR…

Pros

Clear processes and excellent communication make managing projects smooth. The team dynamic is one of the best I’ve experienced.

Cons

Occasional resourcing challenges, but leadership works hard to address them.

Pros

The pace is fast, and employees are often expected to operate at a high level with minimal oversight. For some, this environment may feel energizing or offer accelerated exposure early in their career.

Cons

Expectations are frequently unclear, shift after decisions have already been made, or are enforced inconsistently. Employees may receive approval for a course of action and later be criticized for that same decision. Feedback is not always grounded in documented facts or actual client input, and internal narratives can change in ways that contradict prior conversations or results. High performers are often asked to absorb additional scope to compensate for team or resourcing gaps, without corresponding authority or support, and are then blamed when systemic issues arise. Raising concerns about workload, quality, or timelines is not consistently met with problem-solving, creating an environment where employees begin to second-guess their judgment and lose trust in leadership.
