Pros

Ok starter job Flexible schedule if you ask for time off in advance

Cons

No upward mobility No raises or promotions Only eligible for promotion after 1 year of work Expect you to work on movie theater side with 0 training They have literally forgotten to announce employees of the month and paid them for the same month under the same description No paid time off There was no holiday pay and they expected me to continue working holidays after my dad died They gave me multiple 10+ hour shifts in a row and forgot to give me breaks Hardly any coworkers actually work shows and often hide forcing all of the work on me Management knows this and still hasn't fired them over it There seems to be a high turnover rate people leave or get fired frequently but somehow the employees who don't want to di their job still work there? Lots of highschool drama and gossip People frequently badmouth the supervisor even though he literally is just doing his job People leave early when they're not supposed to and I end up having to close down 6 rooms by myself with hundreds of wires to connect

Pros

None. I literally can’t think of a pro in my time there.

Cons

Crewed with inexperience and yes men. Walter is an impediment to the team and detrimental to development. Direct quotes from an esquire article that also echo my experience: “They complain that he has an abrasive and intrusive style that he doesn't attempt to stifle.” "He's got a bit of a Salieri syndrome," says Lasker, referring to the composer who was famously jealous of Mozart's genius. "He wants to [write] it himself, and it's not his strong suit." As it translates to my experience, Walter had a problem with constant rewrites DURING production. Changing core elements of the software design on a whim. It didn’t matter to him what it took to do it in the inadequate timeframe given. Taking on roles he was unqualified for and stifling production. He seemed more interested in the status he held and had serious “witness me!, bloodbag” vibes. I wasn’t paid for a full quarter and my last payment was due right around christmas. I didn’t get paid till Christmas Eve and had no way to take care of christmas gifts for family. My contract wasn’t renewed until I stopped showing up after the new year. Once that happened I was contacted but by that point it was too late, I was done with dreamscape.
