Great people to work with. Good pay if negotiated during hiring process and the benefits are average. Challenging work and you will never be bored. Many challenges but overall a good place to work.

Very much a tribal culture. Very top heavy with allot of politics. Upper Management disconnected with lower management. Upper management will preach lean and six sigma but will not thoroughly practice it. More about charts and graphs than actual results. Company has no problem hiring directors and managers (even one with little or no direct reports) but will not provide resources at the lower level to get process and product improved. Just enough lower management to fight fires and get product moving though all the inefficiencies. Culture is more about blaming than about fixing problems. Management will not invest money and resources in fixing issues even though it is proven the investment will provide excellent return in both cost and cycle time reduction. People following procedure is a rarity. Many challenges but also opportunities. This scenario is typical the oil and gas engineer to order industry.
