Pros

Young vibrant atmosphere. As a first job, you will almost feel its an extension of college with the young single people, parties and fun. You will make lots of new friends.

Cons

Salaries are a joke. Managers are young and inexperienced. They will make you "walk the extra mile" by working late hours without compensation all the time. People literally sit and stare at their computers until 6.30 since they don't want to be among the first to leave for the day. After some time you realize managers have their own agenda. The pressure and incentives offered to them makes them treat staff like sheep. For a select few its a great company to grow in and some seem to commit for life, moving between offices allover the world. For the rest its an off putting experience on how a company works but good for a short while, say a year or two if you want to work abroad.

Pros

You get to choose your tour and recruit the students you want to bring. The paid chaperone ratio is 6:1, so it is very manageable. The tours are great and the local experts are wonderful.

Cons

Company support is variable. There is high turnover and new consultants are very sales motivated and don't always get the nuances of your school or community group. I have had some WONDERFUL concusltants, but they have always been promoted before I get to work with them again.
