      Pros

      Good salary and perks, nice people, fun social events

      Cons

      You can sometimes feel isolated from the other employees due to remote working and the use of external agencies but I'm not sure how avoidable that is. And you can always work from the office if you prefer.

We benchmark our salaries each year to ensure that we are in line with market rates that coupled with our additional perks often does bring us out on top. Having a dedicated EV social committee has meant that we been fortunate enough to keep social events running each quarter and it is great to hear such positive feedback on these. We recognise the isolated feeling with regards to the majority of the workforce working remotely. We will keep encouraging more and more staff to return to the office and hopefully over the next few months numbers in the office will increase.       Pros

      Very supportive environment, where you are a treated as an individual and not just another number on the payroll system. Very healthy and inclusive social aspect, with a positive focus on maintenance of the work/life balance for all staff, A willingness to offer flexibility of working arrangements makes it an accessible workplace for all. There is a real passion to offer the highest possible levels of customer satisfaction to clients, even when it means working extra hours to achieve it. This is always done willingly and never forced on the staff. Always new things to learn, with opportunities made available across the business to offer up suggestions for new products, to request additional training and to really get involved in every aspect of the business. Genuine friendliness, compassion and laughter is part of the culture.

      Cons

      Newbury is not the easiest of places to get to at times.

      What a lovely review, thank you! It is great to read reviews like this as we have spent a lot of time over the years ensuring that we always think of not only our company goals but also our employees. We have grown in size over the years and have always maintained that our employee experience can have a huge impact on the success of our business. We will continue to work hard on the work life balance aspect of our business. With flexible working arrangements across the company we have a number of staff starting and finishing at different times however in recent years we changed the office opening hours and requested that the building was locked up earlier to ensure that staff were not here late. We are located in Newbury Business Park which is close to the M4 which at times causes traffic congestion and I can agree that it can be difficult but I hopefully this isn't the case everyday.
