Pros

Eberjey taught me the value of caring less. It took me a while to figure it out, but my work life got so much easier here when I just stopped trying. No more making my own growth roadmaps because they didn't have a leveling structure. No more working hard because they had no bonus structure. No more asking what I could do better because there was nowhere to grow into. No more pitching fun new tests. No more offering my industry expertise. I had no incentive to work any harder than the bare minimum because senior leadership was involved in seemingly every project and made seemingly every decision so I didn’t have to! Big thank you to them for making coasting so easy. Summer Friday's were also a plus.

Cons

Eberjey was one of those places where I knew it was bad but didn’t realize how bad it was until after I left. Approvals were painful and slow unless the idea came from senior leadership. Micromanagement from the very top. Culture was stale at best, senior leadership oozed with dejection. I experienced the least amount of friction when I pandered to senior leadership. So, I coasted until it became utterly boring. Then I left.

At Eberjey we are proud of the various strategies and tools we have in place to listen and solicit feedback from our employees and to support each person’s growth and potential. When feedback is not shared, it is unfortunately impossible to action on, and it’s evident how this misalignment in expectations and values led to your departure. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

Pros

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this company and brand. The product is truly exceptional—and what makes it even more special is that everyone here genuinely believes in it. That shared passion creates an energetic, inspiring environment where the work feels meaningful and fun. The co-founders, Mariela and Ali, are authentic, caring, and deeply committed—not just to the success of the brand, but to the well-being of the team and customers. They lead with an honest heart, regularly reading customer feedback and feeling genuinely moved by how the brand touches people’s lives during their most personal moments. The culture is respectful, warm, supportive, and uplifting. It’s a place where you feel valued and encouraged—and one that pushes you to grow, stretch, and become the best version of yourself.

Cons

I’m genuinely surprised by some of the comments I’ve seen as the company. Having worked for several fashion companies, I can confidently say this one is truly a gem. The business is growing rapidly—with that growth comes the need for processes to evolve. It is exciting to contribute and be a part of it and suggestions and solutions are welcome. What stands out about the leadership here is their willingness to listen, adapt, and pivot when needed. They’re not afraid of change and are deeply committed to building something lasting, thoughtful, and strong.

Pros

The pajamas speak for themselves.

Cons

- Instead of constructively addressing the concerns raised in negative Glassdoor reviews, the company focused on managing perception by encouraging recently promoted employees—those likely to share positive experiences—to post reviews. - You won't find meaningful opportunities for growth or learning. Instead, you'll likely regress due to homegrown leadership that lacks proper expertise, and the absence of clear processes/structure that typically support development. - Efforts to boost company morale feel ineffective, largely because they come across as forced/inauthentic and aren't supported by genuine recognition or emotional intelligence. - There’s a constant sense of dissatisfaction. When positive recognition is given it often comes across as insincere. - Not an environment where employee feedback or input leads to meaningful change. While opinions may be welcomed on the surface, they're rarely acted on and leadership often takes constructive input personally. It’s a culture where those who ‘suck up’ are rewarded.
