Pros
While a lot of posts talk about good food and great product, the backbone of our company’s growth has been based on the team spirit amongst all, good leadership and most importantly fearlessness in making mistakes and learning from it. Like any company we have pockets of brilliance and mediocrity. But the self belief and the strong desire to grow is reflected all the way from our CEO to rank and file. In my (almost) two years here I have seen how we deal with challenges and more often than not overcome them. After a challenging 2015 due to turmoil in sales leadership and associated changes, the company seems to have found a solid footing and is poised for some incredible growth. I agree with one other post that this is not a company for the faint of heart. There is no room to hide unlike larger organisations. As our CEO says that what you see is what you get, there will be detractors who being below average players will get called out. I am grateful to be part of a company that takes care of its people and is building for the long term.
Cons
Provide more flexibility to employees for working remotely as so much time is getting wasted in commuting to the office, and evaluate if its really necessary to have everyone in the office all the time since a senior manager wishes to have it that way? Finance team is the most contentious of any groups and they make it unpleasant to do business internally. This style of leadership seeps all the way from the CFO to the underlings.
