Pros
I took a leap of faith and a pay cut to come work at Egnyte a little over a year ago as I saw the potential for long-term growth. I came here because I was looking for a place where I could be challenged, grow my skills, grow my career and be surrounded by smart hardworking individuals with similar goals. Through a lot of hard work, I was able to quickly promote to Director. One of the best things about Egnyte, is the company truly believes in promoting from within and rewarding those who work hard. It's easy to come into work every day when everyone from the CEO to the newest employee is in the trenches trying to make our company better and our customers lives better. Our CEO and leadership team are incredible and I'm constantly impressed with how everyone dedicates themselves to Egnyte. The culture is one of the best parts of the Job, particularly in our Spokane Office. We work hard, and we go out to lunch and drinks to have fun with each-other outside of work. We collaborate on documents and joke over slack. We push each other to get better, get smarter, and grow together. Benefits are about as good as can be, including flex hours and responsible time off, gym and cell phone reimbursement, great insurance for you and your family, and company sponsored lunches 2 days a week to name a few. Being a part of the leadership team, I can say for a fact that the executive and leadership team, as well at the founder truly cares about everyone here. They pay attention, and while they may not act on every bit of feedback, they read, listen and do whatever they can to improve and make this a great place to work.
Cons
We are a pre IPO, growth company so the “Cons” if you would consider them that, are due to the fact that we are growing. We are now a $100 million ARR company, and with that growth, we constantly need to be adjusting our processes. Personally, I like the challenge, but if you are someone who needs rigorous structure to do your job, you may struggle.
