Managers and senior sales team ask for feedback and suggestions but then immediately get defensive and will make you immediately regret saying anything. Vineet the CEO responded all to the entire sales org on a congratulatory email saying that the sale should not have been celebrated and that they had a lot of work to do on the account. This was on a shout out email celebrating a victory. Regardless of the sale- the response was so uncomfortable and uncalled for. Any discrepancies should have been addressed on a managers level- not sent to the entire sales organization. Vineet never addressed this nor apologized. This should say enough about the type of toxic atmosphere sales people are walking into.
