Pros

Looks good on your resume. Lovely campus. Can't think of anything else.

Cons

Too many to mention. Biggest political nightmare ever. Constantly re-org-ing made the place a mess. I had nine bosses in four years, and two years in a row, they "forgot" to give me a review. Nepotism -- big time. Horrible with budgets. EA does everything on the cheap (unless you're a big-time exec). They don't let the leaders they hire to lead to their job. Always interfering -- their way or no way. Their VP's are the worst, and they hold BIG TIME (and ridiculous) grudges when you leave the company. Seriously! Even if you didn't go to a competitor. Commute was awful, of course, with very little options for flex time/work from home opportunities. I could go on and on. Whenever I'm chatting with people and we joke about our "worst jobs ever" -- and people say things like "retail basement re-stocker" or "telemarketer" or "popcorn vendor, I always answer "EA. Hands down the worst job I've ever had." It's sad, because it could be cool. But they are awful. It would take years for them to repair how they operate.

Pros

Fast paced startup mindset in an established corporate ladder

Cons

Privatization might cause headcount reduction, change the tempo and culture in the organization. 🤞

Pros

A lot of good and smart people that are able to create good work together.

Cons

Restructuring every year, nepotism, no clear path for career progression at all, senior leadership isn’t communicating clearly, acquisition communication has been non-existent, layoffs are a constant factor and fear, unclear why some people get promoted and many high performers do not
