Pros

Nothing. Realized it was a scam.

Cons

Its a pyramid Scheme pure and simple. You should Google the CEO "George Papalexandratos". The company used to be called Distinctive Solutions Inc.. Many complaints on the Ripoff report and all over the web. Research the company before going in and wasting your time. The CEO makes money by swindling people and just hires as many employees as possible. You are told its a salary position but guess what its not.

Ethos Consulting Group Response

First of all, thank you for taking the time to review our company. We are glad that we have the opportunity to respond to your review. Therefore, we would like to address all of your concerns in regards to Ethos Consulting Group and our CEO. With all due respect, because we are in the marketing and sales industry, that does not qualify us as an illegal business entity. We do not resemble a pyramid scheme in any way, shape, or form. A pyramid scheme is an illegal form of business. We work with CenturyLink a reputable company with a 41 Billion dollar brand name. CenturyLink would not put their brand name in jeopardy by working with any illegal organization. George Papalexandratos, our CEO, has been in business for over a decade. He has built this company from the ground up and has partnered with several large corporations; having offered employment throughout the country to several individuals. That being said, he strives to create a great environment for all of his employees. Unfortunately, he admits that he has failed a hand full of times with delivering that promise to his employees. However, he did not fail to learn lessons from his mistakes. Our CEO continues to improve himself in order to always provide a healthy community and positive work environment.

Pros

you are in complete control of your work here. After training (both virtual and in person) its up to you. NO MICRO-MANAGEMENT. Many that work here are driven to do more. Personally and professionally. It's refreshing. The teams helps to find solutions for things that help someone through diffculties - personal or professional. We all have things that happen - but we don't all have an environment or work culture that helps someone help. You aren't left being stuck.

Cons

This is NOT for people who want a desk job or just want to be told the basics of a job and do the minimum. While is it labeled entry level - this is NOT entry level. (entry level is more about starting in training) Ideally apply is you have some work experience not wet behind the ears. The job is in sales - so yes there is pay on comissions and bonuses. (duh)

Pros

Honestly, the people I worked with were decent. That was the only good part.

Cons

- Everything was hidden behind a ridiculous need to know culture, which somehow meant I was never allowed to know anything that actually affected my work. - Leadership made decisions about projects and processes without explaining the reason or the impact, then expected everyone to adjust immediately without question. - Major changes came through random Slack messages or hallway gossip, which became exhausting and infuriating after a while. - There is a culture of intentional vagueness where asking for clarity is treated like some outrageous offense. - After a few months I completely stopped asking questions because straight answers never came anyway. - The entire environment makes employees feel less like valued staff and more like outsiders being deliberately shut out.
