Pros

Amazing team, really nice people

Cons

Never disclosed information. For example: 8 hours a day, working 40+ hours a week, base salary + commission was really confusing.

Ethos Consulting Group Response

We are deeply sorry to hear that you got confused during and after the interview process. Will make sure HR and Management hears about this and makes appropriate adjustments in order to avoid any future confusion. Our current detailed interviewing and hiring practice covers as follows schedule, pay and benefits. Not sure how it was missed. During the 3-step interview process we cover that this is a full-time position. Also, when we offer a position, we email all candidates an offer letter that covers hours, days and compensation. Last, when you signed your official job offer, we also cover in detail all important role expectations such as schedule, hours, base pay, commissions, bonuses, reimbursements and benefits.

Pros

you are in complete control of your work here. After training (both virtual and in person) its up to you. NO MICRO-MANAGEMENT. Many that work here are driven to do more. Personally and professionally. It's refreshing. The teams helps to find solutions for things that help someone through diffculties - personal or professional. We all have things that happen - but we don't all have an environment or work culture that helps someone help. You aren't left being stuck.

Cons

This is NOT for people who want a desk job or just want to be told the basics of a job and do the minimum. While is it labeled entry level - this is NOT entry level. (entry level is more about starting in training) Ideally apply is you have some work experience not wet behind the ears. The job is in sales - so yes there is pay on comissions and bonuses. (duh)

Pros

Honestly, the people I worked with were decent. That was the only good part.

Cons

- Everything was hidden behind a ridiculous need to know culture, which somehow meant I was never allowed to know anything that actually affected my work. - Leadership made decisions about projects and processes without explaining the reason or the impact, then expected everyone to adjust immediately without question. - Major changes came through random Slack messages or hallway gossip, which became exhausting and infuriating after a while. - There is a culture of intentional vagueness where asking for clarity is treated like some outrageous offense. - After a few months I completely stopped asking questions because straight answers never came anyway. - The entire environment makes employees feel less like valued staff and more like outsiders being deliberately shut out.
