Pros

The caseworkers/clinicians are dedicated to the mission and care for their clients. They are the backbone of the agency. During my years there, my team/supervisor was very supportive.

Cons

High stress, but that is part of the field. Had to pay for parking, again part of the field. Executive leadership has no clue how to discuss things properly with staff. Constant miscommunication, rules change all the time with no discussion around it, felt like I was talked to like a child and not a working adult. Constant mistakes on my pay check and talked to like I was to blame instead of fixing the issue. Changed the mission statement, but didn't change your attitude towards staff and clients. Felt like executive leadership did not support my supervisor even though they tried to make things better for us. There is a obvious lack of respect from executive leadership only; its known throughout the agency.

Pros

Ability to provide quality care and services to clients and families! Love my work environment and my team! Awesome benefits especially consideration for wellness reimbursements which is needed in this field. Reasonable caseloads.

Cons

Less pay but worth the lessened stress of most other agencies in community health with higher client caseloads
