Pros

Travel benefit and great people and company culture where do they do care but...

Cons

The pay is not there and probably never will be. People that have been there over 3 years are still hardly making a livable wage for Denver. Staff that has been around for over a decade are dedicated which is great - but they need to pay the younger generation there if they want to keep them around because there's so much talk about how we're all struggling.

Pros

The people at Exclusive Resorts, and within the Marketing department specifically, are one of the biggest highlights. Everyone is incredibly smart, driven, and passionate about what they do, which makes it an energizing place to work. There's a real culture of learning, not just from leadership, but from peers as well. There is also a very collaborative spirit on the team in how everyone rallies together to get campaigns and projects across the finish line. Leadership invests in your growth in tangible ways, through courses and certifications and on-the-job learning if you want to go deeper into a certain area of marketing, and there's always an opportunity to take on more responsibility if you show initiative. You also have access to great tools/technology that help you stay current in a fast-moving industry.

Cons

The Marketing team only partially based in Denver which means leaning on tools like Slack and email more than you would in a fully co-located environment. Collaboration across time zones requires some intentional scheduling and planning, as it would in any remote/hybrid work environment.

Pros

You get to work from home three days a week

Cons

To people considering employment: Just know that every single positive review you see here was frantically written by someone in HR to make up for all the real negative reviews that come in. Pay attention to the bad reviews. To Exclusive HR: it feels like writing these reviews is the only thing that gets HR/leadership to take action so here we go. Hiring yet another remote President/CEO was an odd choice. Melissa seems nicer than James but you guys really need to give up on forcing office presence if you are going to continue to hire fully remote employees. It’s a slap in the face and just makes it obvious that being in the office isn’t necessary. Give up on the office, please! There is no office culture when we’re all on zoom. The office is a failed experiment and I challenge you to find even one employee that likes going in. It’s a waste of our time. Also, if we have the money to buy two companies in the last year, why are you still paying your employees such tiny wages? A 3% raise each year is a joke and doesn’t even cover inflation. We are struggling out here! I do not care about Inspirato or the merger. Please stop trying to make us care about it and please get enough staff to properly run all of these companies. You’re running employees ragged by forcing teams to cover the work for three different companies.
