Pros

- They hire intelligent account managers with great ideas, backgrounds and skills - Some ability to use the portfolio of homes - Unusual to take work home with you - this is very much a 9-5 type of job - Made some good friends there - Coffee and popcorn always provided

Cons

- nepotism - watch your back culture - severe micromanagement - earned bonuses don't exist (well they do, but mgmt always finds a reason not to pay it out/changes the rules etc) - in the interview they promised many perks and benefits but every single one is matched with unreasonable rules making any benefit there not really usable - zero career growth opportunities - not for someone with previous professional work experience - pay that doesn't match the cost of living in Denver or the surrounding areas - confusion around actual job title and description (this position is nothing more than a customer service position, however in the interview I was sold on the account management title with opportunity for added commissions and bonuses) - obligatory weekend work and holiday work - cannot use earned PTO whenever wanted/needed (even for holidays) depending on other employees taking time off, the work load and various company roll outs - massive amounts of turnover and firings in this position - don't expect a pay raise - no flexibility around schedule or work from home - must be in the office to work (even though it's a very wfh type of job) - lack of trust from managers to their employees

Pros

Some of the most dedicated and kind people you’ll ever get to work with. Some of the perks are nice too if you ever get the chance to use them. Especially travel. Bonuses can be great, but there are metrics outside of your control that can slash the $ amount. Ability to work remotely is always a plus.

Cons

Do you like pay that doesn’t keep up with cost of living while working to arrange luxury experiences that cost more than you’ll ever make be able to afford all for extremely demanding clients? Culture of the company is changing from people-focused to metrics and image driven. Most of the team is burned out, and the company made very little effort to address the problem until it became totally unsustainable; All while asking us to take on more and more work. Leadership claims to support staff, but has very little idea of or desire to understand the situation for most employees. While the perks are nice, I saw their steady erosion during my time with the company. Started out feeling like a valued team member at first. Left feeling like cannon fodder while the C-suite pats themselves on the back. This is a company run by executives for the benefit of other executives.

Pros

Amazing departmental colleagues Able to work from home at the moment but this will likely change soon. Good health benefits Great Regional Managers who do their best to be stuck in between unrealistic expectations from senior management and burnt out team members struggling.

Cons

It has been made very clear by our most recent Executive member additions and CEO that the people who actually take care of our members and keep them in a club with no availability, are of little to no value to them. The only focuses now are sales and marketing. Just get them in the club, and then we don’t actually care about the rest after that and zero focus on employee bandwidth, retention, or work load. Not to mention that our starting salary of $45k hasn’t changed in 10 years although more and more responsibilities and expectations are added. We used to feel like individuals with varying talents that were appreciated and grown, now we are just stats, data, and output. I guarantee our CEO couldn’t even name half of our team. Our Exec team members are more concerned with trying to look and travel like the actual members they should be serving and pay our bills. Everything here is now about perception and if things “look good on the outside,” even though our department is crumbling inside. A perfect example was our recent ransom ware attack where it was to be kept under wraps from clients while our department was just hung out to dry for two weeks with little to no support…”just do your best. Good luck!” Our special relationships with members was our niche in this industry and now we are so overloaded with clients, we can barely respond to all our clients emails within 24-48 hours. All while we are touting “Platinum service.”

Thank you for your feedback as we take all feedback very seriously. We are proud of our strong culture at Exclusive and the wonderful people we employ. Our leadership team has worked diligently to create an open, transparent, and incredibly accessible work environment and culture. It is disappointing to us that you felt compelled to address your concerns in this manner. As you know, we have a daily zoom meeting where we celebrate accomplishments and proactively, openly share information. We have regular team meetings and there are plenty of opportunities for employees to share feedback internally, both formally and informally, at all levels. We are proud that our organization is doing better than ever, despite the impact the pandemic had on the travel industry. As such, we offer a competitive total compensation package that includes base pay, significant upside through variable compensation, and a very rich benefits program that allows employees access to our portfolio of homes. Know that the Member Services team is at the heart of everything we do at Exclusive Resorts. This is a critical role within our organization, and we sincerely value and appreciate all of your hard work. Transformation of a company is hard, it means change and sometimes that is not easy. We are continuously working on ways to improve and always welcome the opportunity to engage in a constructive dialog with you and address your concerns. We have an open-door policy so please feel free to reach out to me directly, or any member of the leadership team, including our CEO.
