Pros
1. The management team is very supportive. 2. Reasonable work-life balance. 3. Great products and projects to work with. 4. Excellent Engineering culture. Strong R&D division. 5. A lot to learn. Good personal growth. I start my career as a software engineer at FMI. There are a lot of things to learn about the software architecture design, system programming, and imaging processing. Since it is a small company, you have the chance to work in all kinds of fields, and to work with all different teams. The most important thing is that you really own the project. I really enjoy the engineering culture here. Overall, I'm happy with my time at FMI, and I really enjoy working with my coworkers there.
Cons
1. Not that competitive pay, but fair enough. 2. Global communication is inefficient and ineffective. Working with some international teams is somehow frustrating.
