You are constantly told that if you are in the top 10 on the regional ranking reports that you will be promoted (this is totally untrue as I witnessed numerous people at the bottom get promoted over the highest performing colleagues). You are driven to set as many appointments as possible (and tag as much business as possible) so that you look better than your peers The only way to get ahead is to brown nose your superiors and those that have access to give you potential leads (thus people are being promoted on the basis that they were "liked" in the company and not by their performance). All that matters is your Fidelity "Buzz" There is very little to no upward movement for promotions.
