Employees often develop camaraderie because how harsh the work environment is.
Cons
Very low pay across the board with the bare minimum for employee benefits. As big as it has grown, it remains to be and to run like a small family owned business; very little transparency in management decisions, lots of politics, and prevalent micromanagement. Poor company culture and organization; disconnects between departments and even within department are common; departments behave more like competitors against one other rather than those on the same team. Daily overtime is almost mandatory. And if you want to go beyond middle management, understanding and speaking Korean is more than just a plus.
