Pros

While the workplace had its challenges, there were some notable positives. The company offered the opportunity to work on a variety of interesting and unique projects, which provided valuable experience and exposure to different facets of the industry. Additionally, despite the isolating office culture overall, a few lasting professional relationships were formed that proved to be supportive and meaningful. These connections, alongside the creative nature of the work, were among the most rewarding aspects of the role.

Cons

The workplace was characterised by ineffective management at the departmental level, with minimal contact or check-ins from supervisors and no structured training for new staff. There was a complete absence of mentorship, leaving employees to navigate complex tasks without guidance or support. Expectations were unreasonably high despite the lack of adequate resources, and the long working hours were not justified by the low salary. The office culture was isolating and unprofessional, dominated by gossip and a cliquish, immature atmosphere, even among those regarded as 'experienced professionals.' Interactions with senior management, particularly the Head of Production, were unproductive and further exacerbated the sense of disorganisation and neglect.

Pros

Breakfast in the morning supplied by the company.

Cons

Don't expect any growth, they rarely promote. 2-4% annual increase on already $50K - $60K underpaid salary. I had to leave to recognize they were paying me $50K under the market rate. Also no bonus.
