Pros

Unless you thrive in a cutthroat, toxic environment where individual achievements are valued above all else, I would caution against joining this organization.

Cons

Working here was a harrowing experience, largely due to the toxic leadership embodied by our CEO. The company's culture was poisoned by a relentless pursuit of high performance at any cost, fostered by a narcissistic CEO who prioritized their own ego over the well-being of employees.Under this leadership, employees were constantly pushed to their limits, with little regard for work-life balance or personal health. The CEO's inflated sense of self-importance trickled down, creating an atmosphere of fear and intimidation throughout the organization.Feedback was often dismissed or met with hostility, as the CEO saw any criticism as a personal attack on their authority. This lack of accountability led to a culture of silence, where employees felt powerless to speak out against injustices or mistreatment. The obsession with performance metrics overshadowed genuine innovation and collaboration, stifling creativity and driving away talented individuals who sought a more supportive work environment. In conclusion. The toll on your mental and emotional well-being simply isn't worth it.

Pros

I can't think of anything meaningful to write.

Cons

In the last 6 months, practically everyone who knew the architecture and understood y the product are gone (COO, VP Engineering, multiple product managers, and now the co-founder/CTO). Everyone is burnt out, the culture has become so exhausting, I can't think of anyone who wants to stay.
