Pros

Remote based company so no commuting

Cons

They expect you to work outside hours, the job description didn't match the work I was doing, and I never understood what they expected of me

Pros

Every company has values, but I am constantly impressed with how the CEO ensures we live them on a daily basis. The values are literally broadcast on every all hands call (weekly). On the weekly all hands, all top department metrics are shared to the entire organization. "Ideas, not titles win" is a core theme and everybody within the company globally is encouraged to share ideas. From a transparency perspective, Fullcast follows the V2MOM methodology to ensure the company goals are communicated throughout the entire organization. Any framework like V2MOM or OKR's are only as good as the effort needed to create, manage and grade the V2MOM at the end of each quarter. Fullcast follows the V2MOM process diligently and it is always crystal clear what the goals are from the company all the way through each employee. I think this is a key ingredient in a high performance culture and company and Fullcast nails culture/communication/transparency.

Cons

If you are not up for winning a category and all the things that come with that, this may not be a place for you.

Pros

Fantastic Team Environment: The people here are the company's biggest asset. I genuinely enjoy working with my colleagues; the team is talented, supportive, and a pleasure to work with daily. True Remote Commitment: I appreciate that the company prioritizes remote work and stands by it. It’s a core part of our structure, not just a temporary perk. Employee-Centric Focus: For a company of this size, they are making a significant effort to prioritize the "employee experience" and try to go above and beyond in ways that many similar-sized companies don't. Strong Departmental Support: While the company is growing, I feel very supported within my immediate department. Our collaborative workflow is excellent.

Cons

Benefits Need to Catch Up: While the company puts a lot of effort into the employee experience, the current health insurance plan feels a bit behind. The high deductibles and limited network can be challenging to navigate compared to the rest of the company culture. Mixed Signals on Strategy: The company values a "bottom-up" approach to employee input, but in practice, decisions can sometimes feel very "top-down." There is occasionally a disconnect between the desire for feedback and how that feedback is integrated into high-level strategy. Work-Life Balance vs. Dedication: Because everyone is so passionate and driven, there is a tendency to normalize working very long hours. It sometimes feels like "the hustle" is praised a bit too much, which can make it hard to maintain boundaries despite the remote flexibility.
