In a matter of a few years into your career, you will have had the chance to build a resume that makes you attractive to any other company looking for top talent.
Cons
Leadership in amy function has a prety narrow idea of the kind of person that will be successful. If you don't fit the mold, you will not advance betond a certain point. Managers that don't fall into the "looks like me, works like me, thinks like me" meme will fall outside the profile of "high potential" and may get high performance ratings but will not advance.
