Goalbook’s leadership is driven by values that have proven to me that our founders and other team leads truly care about the individuals on our team and their professional and personal growth. I feel very privileged our co-founder Daniel is my manager. I am thankful that he models for me how to lead as a proactive, approachable, and empathetic leader. When looking back at my six years at Goalbook as the content lead, I am most proud of the ways in which the content team has grown. We have grown professionally in regards to understanding our users, making strategic decisions, applying design thinking to our work, and engaging in radically candid conversations. We have grown our relationships with each other, through increasing trust, vulnerability and true care for one another. We have also grown in our ability to be comfortable with change and our ability to respond with agility. I am proud that our team environment has been so positive that in 6 years, not one content person had left the content team. However this spring, it was bitter sweet when a full-time content team member left Goalbook. Sad to miss having them on the team but super proud that their work at Goalbook helped them land a product role at Apple!

Having many of our full-time team remote can be hard, I wish I could see them in person more often.
