Pros

- Flexible: Hybrid Work, Summer hours, Unlimited PTO (given you meet ~80% utilization) - Career Progression: Heavy emphasis on university recruiting and recruiting/developing young talent - Impact: Lean teams without sacrificing capability offerings, each team member contributes tangible value on their client engagements and are recognized for it

Cons

- Diversity: Lack of diversity at PPMD/Director/Senior Manger-level - Retirement Benefits: 401k matching is not great compared to other Consulting firms/industry firms, although GT does have an okay pension plan where employees are 100% vested after 3 years of service - Career Progression feels set in stone: Promotions seem to be based on years of experience rather than value contributed

Pros

Some folks are great to work with. Some of the leaders really do care.

Cons

Workday practice is a total mess. They have trouble selling work and hours are much lower than they should be so consultants end up spread very thin across multiple projects and still can't hit utilization targets on paper even if they are working very hard in actuality. The independence requirements are insane!! If I had known I would have to disclose all of my investments and be told wha t I am or am not allowed to invest money in I would not have taken the job. Independence is total hell and most consulting firms don't subject employees to those invasive requirements.
