Pros

They provide breakfast and lunches during busy season....that's about it.

Cons

Ridiculously high turnover rate; nothing feels "organized"; constantly back tracking and changing policies and programs; non competitive pay, below average benefits; some micro management; no "upwards" performance evaluations for management so employees have no voice; required attendance at culture meetings that A) do not apply to Admin Staff in most cases, and B) the majority of the information is left in the meetings, aside from management. When people aren't happy, you don't shove them in these mechanical meetings and preach a false "culture", or hound employees to do an "anonymous" survey via our computers. Really? Anonymous via your work computer, because surely they aren't tracking that! How affective is this nonsense? I've honestly never been a part of an organization where over 75% off the people at arms reach are actively searching for better opportunities. I've never seen anything like it.

Pros

Some folks are great to work with. Some of the leaders really do care.

Cons

Workday practice is a total mess. They have trouble selling work and hours are much lower than they should be so consultants end up spread very thin across multiple projects and still can't hit utilization targets on paper even if they are working very hard in actuality. The independence requirements are insane!! If I had known I would have to disclose all of my investments and be told wha t I am or am not allowed to invest money in I would not have taken the job. Independence is total hell and most consulting firms don't subject employees to those invasive requirements.
