This is my first SME and I am really enjoying the exposure and experiences that you don't get when working in a larger company. Gu is a place where people can learn so much from each other and grow personally/professionally in many different ways. In my first 12 months, I've really appreciated autonomy, accountability and opportunity. I feel very much part of a team that has a strong desire to perform and succeed. If you're someone who is driven, self-motivated and thrives in a fast-moving environment then Gu could be the perfect place for you.

Cons

In my short time here there has been significant change - which requires everyone to be adaptable, resilient and resourceful - and the average length of service here is shorter than I've previously experienced, so the impact is much more noticeable. If you're looking for rapid career progression or to climb an internal ladder that takes you from one role to the next then (right now) you could be disappointed.
