Experience. Their manager training program is one of the best I have been , and I have been through several.

Cons

The pay was deplorable for management, but I highly suspect that they were just not willing to pay more because a) I am a woman and b) they don't understand how to run a profitable nutrition department

NO FULL-TIME OFFER! The recruitment process at H-E-B Digital is deeply frustrating and appears to lack integrity. Despite having relevant internship experience and receiving positive feedback during the interview process, I found that the company’s hiring strategy seems entirely reliant on prioritizing individuals recently laid off from FAANG companies. It feels as though they are not genuinely interested in developing new talent or giving equal consideration to qualified candidates who don't fit that specific profile. Advice for Management: Be transparent with applicants regarding your hiring criteria. It is demoralizing to waste time and emotional energy interviewing when the process feels like a box-checking exercise. If you are not actually hiring, do not string candidates along with positive feedback. The current approach reflects poorly on the company’s values and brand. Recommendation: If you are not a recent layoff from a major tech firm, I would suggest looking elsewhere. It appears to be their business model to prioritize those specific candidates over others, regardless of your personal qualifications or positive performance during interviews.
