Pros

The biggest pro is it's work from home and you don't need to move to Bangalore. Colleagues are good and helpful

Cons

You are expected to work on Saturdays and even Sundays, the project leads simply ask us to work on weekends and they take an off, it is a normal practice at HS Brands I suppose. The management is careless and the HR is also very weak and doesn't have any policies in place. There are no incentives or bonuses like other companies. No additional employee benefits other than the monthly fixed salary. Not a company for long-term employment.

Pros

Working at HS Brands as a full-time employee in the US has generally been a positive experience. One of the biggest strengths is its team-oriented environment. Collaboration is strongly encouraged, we do happy hours, volunteering events and company game hours. Team members are generally engaged and supportive of one another. Leadership is approachable and genuinely invested in employee well-being. Their open-door policy, EOS meetings and regular 1 on 1's make it easy to stay connected and helps build a connection with the team. Another plus is the opportunities for professional development; especially for those that express interest.

Cons

Over the years a few toxic people have been hired that really brought down team morale and created extra work for others. Working here is a laid back but fast-paced environment, the workload can be intense, and responsibilities often change. Staying on top of everything requires juggling multiple priorities. Early on, there was a lack of structure and policies, but this has improved significantly over the years.

Pros

Mystery shopping can be fun...

Cons

Just not with this company. I completed a shop and sent an email 3 weeks later to ask about payment date. I was told it was accepted and payment would be made 35-45 days from date accepted. What date was it accepted and where can I find this info for next time? ***crickets*** Waited 3 more weeks and asked about payment date again. The answer I received was "Payment pending means it will be paid by the end of next week". I replied that by the end of next week is not an acceptable answer to my question. It did not answer my question at all. The reply was it will be paid on or before February 9, 2024. It is now February 7, 2024. 51 days and counting. I guarantee if I asked one of the people emailing me what day they get paid next they would know down to the hour. Some companies pay same day. This one needs 7-8 weeks give or take a couple of days. Nobody really knows apparently.
