Pros

Super kind and caring coworkers, working in music is fun, good work-life balance

Cons

Pay could be better (when I was there anyway), staffing issues (when I was there anyway), and customers sometimes don’t know how to behave but that’s not the store’s fault

Pros

401k is good. Insurance is expensive for the coverage offered. Work schedule is flexible so I can keep gigging. My commission schedule is good (not great).

Cons

The whole of the management team is completely incompetent. Severe problems with inter-departmental communication. Employee retention is terrible, and overall morale is worse. Wages are mediocre, raises don't happen. Monthly "huddle" conference call is a joke.
