Very interesting project with very bad leadership - Chief Technology Officer Hipcam Employee Review

My co-workers!! Luckily for us, we are not working there anymore :). We broke our chains.

If you ever thought how bad a boss could be, you can get your response at Hipcam. He denigrates everyone he employs. He speaks trash about everyone in the meetings. He even tries to take advantage of his partners in Buenos Aires making us lie for him (faking reports). Not yet a whole year has passed since he arrived in Montevideo, but he already has achieved a record: 15 people hired, 7 people are gone. Of course, the ones still there are the newest and already looking to run out from there.

The only pros I can think of is my co-workers. They were all really smart and supportive during stressful and not-so-good times.

- Long hours which they won't pay for. - They would tell you you can work remotely but will force you to go to the office. - They don't care about the people that work for them. - They would call you at anytime of the day and night (even on weekends) if they need something from you. To sum up, it was the worst work experience I ever had and don't recommend anyone to have to be through it.
