Pros

I’ve been with this company for about 10 months, and it’s been an incredibly positive experience! The leadership team truly values team member development. I’ve had opportunities to grow professionally through training, mentorship, and increased responsibilities. The team is collaborative, supportive, and genuinely cares about one another’s success. Work-life balance is respected, and management is approachable and open to feedback. What I appreciate most is the company culture. Competitive pay and benefits are an added bonus!

Cons

Peak periods (like holidays) can be demanding, but teamwork helps balance the workload!

Pros

I have been working at an F&B Intern at the Hotel Drover since January and it has been fantastic! Everyone is so welcoming and helpful! All of management is so encouraging and genuinely wants to see all team members grow and excel. I have been given many responsibilities but in a phased manner, allowing me to learn the operations with support the whole time. Even though I am an intern with just the F&B side, I truly feel part of the whole family. The People and Culture team is phenomenal, and each department wants to help each other. I just graduated college and became a full-time team member, and I am beyond excited about it. Definitely a great place to work and a team I can see myself working with for many years to come!

Cons

Very little to say here! Sometimes projects/meetings can get delayed, but it is very understandable as operations take priority.

Pros

Benefits and great team environment. Proud to work for a team who continues to lead industry with so many awards as best in class. Exciting developments for the FW Stockyards and we have come a long way since 3 years ago when it was the “Wild West”; finally experienced leaders who are leading us to achieve award winning results. The support and visibility from leaders is consistent. Opportunities to learn if you take advantage of them and Leadership works hard to make things better than the year before.

Cons

Biggest regret is not joining a luxury boutique hotel sooner, Big box hotels are overrated. No cons but with the popularity of the hotel there are days we need more amenities to serve our guest, hopefully a spa in the future.
