Well management is clueless so you can BS your way through most issues. For the time being many people can work from home and choose the regular work day hours, and slack off when is slow and go watch TV or take a shower during the work day. Most people are willing to help and work on problems. Free internet sevice at home since IBM pays for it due to work at home and being on call for pager duty and off shift and weekend projects. Cons
On call off shift support. Constant staff cuts, do more with less. Management not being honest with knowledge about coming changes. No more pension contributions. Too much time spent on process. An example is a change that takes 5 minutes needs a change record, and the entire change process takes 2 hours of your time, plus the time of account team to review, go to the customer to get approval. Also when there is an audit finding due to one person making a minor mistake , notes must be sent the dept and discussed at dept meetings, and management will keep asking what the status is on the doc being prepared due to the finding
