Pros
Being able to learn about multiple technologies
Cons
Coming in IBM from an acquired company is difficult. Too many teams, too many processes, and the organisation changes every 6 months. Many old-timers, particularly in the management ranks, are hanging on to, or finding jobs when the organisation changes, thanks to their network. This doesn't mean that they're the best person for the job. Very time-consuming to get alignment on sales deals. If you like Matrix organisations, join IBM.
