Pros

Schedule was flexible and that's about it.

Cons

You will get hired and maybe get a promotion.. they throw a ton of tasks that are above your job description with absolutely no compensation. They will take advantage of you if you're a willing hard worker. Turn over rate is horrible, I went through 3 managers and 2 regionals while I was employed and 3 rounds of leasing staff. The company took over steadfast does not care about the residents and only cares about the numbers in the system. The employees are just objects that corporate doesn't know or care about. They don't care to take the time to get to know how the teams work. I have never been so frustrated with a company in my whole career. Im SO glad that I wasted 2 years of my life to be over promised things that were never delivered. I mean just go LOOK at the responses to the reviews on here.. its inhumane, they only care about numbers.

We're sorry your experience was was not as expected. We did merge with another entity 6 months ago, which has created a tremendous amount of opportunity for everyone on the team. It's also created an opportunity to look at best practices within both organizations and implement best practice systems, technology and organizational structure. I assure you each and every employee is cared for and greatly appreciated by the organization at all levels. I think we have clearly demonstrated that with our excellent healthcare benefits, company funded benefits, 401k match, PTO policy, paying people extra sick pay during the pandemic, paying for different certificates for employee growth and education, and giving the entire company a substantial increase in pay 2 weeks ago because of inflation. Our recent employee survey indicated that our greatest attributes are; communication, employee/employer relationships, and the future outlook of the combined organization. We are very focused on the financial success of the company as well as the employees who support the operations. We feel these two components of the company are what makes up the big picture. Both are extremely important to our sustainability and company/individual success.

Pros

Salary is fine. Still just ok for industry standard.

Cons

Extremely poor treatment of staff Extremely poor communication Constant changes in policy, massive changes rolled out with zero consideration for onsite staff or increasing workload Poor work life balance Negligent budgets Excessive administrative workload on property management Renewal increase for employees Employees not exempt from increases in fees/WiFi program Budget bootcamps with reasonable and necessary expenses that’s prepped for several weeks prior to submission and then slashed to unreasonable and unrealistic levels Too short, double booked, and stacked appointments for leasing while upper management (who has no insight on onsite logistics) have extremely high demands for leasing staff Constant criticism of onsite staff but upper management that spend no time onsite or getting to know staff Excessive workload Invasive inspections Telling staff not to ask questions publicly and what not to say on town hall meetings which is incredibly inappropriate and disrespectful to staff Inappropriate behavior by upper management; unprofessional behavior AI causes constant issues for maintenance and onsite staff by making promises on behalf of staff and giving incorrect information Poor incentives Pushback on necessary and completely reasonable needs; appliances, etc. No trust Culture is changing for the worse Extremely challenging KPIs and bonus structure Lack of support seems to be universal across all regions
