HR is terrible. I was told by several individuals that I'd be transitioned to another position after my position was eliminated with a contract change. I sent my resume as requested by HR, while also asking for an accommodation for the new position due to some health issues. I received no feedback for at least two months despite contacting HR several times. On a Friday I checked my email and was notified that it would be my last day and my position was beyond eliminated - in other words, I was laid off. I contacted HR with a complaint and was told my resume didn't meet the requirements (they suddenly had a list of specific areas I'd need experience in). Extremely unprofessional communication. My own boss thought I'd be transitioned over and he apologized when he found out that I'd been laid off.
Luckily I had already interviewed for a position with a different company, which I later accepted a job offer for.
Avoid this employer at all costs.
