I have worked here for 7 years and it is one of best companies which has an overall positive work culture. Though you have a hybrid work shift for IT associates who have to go twice a week to office but you would love the office ambience, the positive vibes the office creates in Mumbai SSC, one would want to stay back more and complete your work. Ingram Micro SSC has varies technologies like .NET, .NET Core, MVC, Angular, C#, SQL, PowerBI, KnockoutJS, ReactJS, RESTAPI, Azure, AWS, Mainframes, SAP, ABAP, SAP FICO, JAVA, Mobile Android and iOS, JSP, Microsoft CRM Dynamics, Tibco, Seeburger and many more all in same Mumbai office. Sometimes the company sends abroad too as I had got the opportunity twice in my tenure here depending on the project and department you are in. The compensation benefits are also excellent as has better annual increments compared to the IT service industry outside and from 2022 variable policy was an ice breaker and they paid more than 100% based on company performance to all associates. Tax structures are also good and you can claim govt tax benefits. They have a minimum 5 lac health cover for close family and term insurance of around 20 lacs for each employee. One can also cover parents with extra premium with pre-existing illnesses. The company provides free parking facilities in the basement for cars and bikes. It has a canteen but after lockdown doesn't serve any food due to limited associates coming on each day as rotational hybrid shift. They also have a play area with carrom board, Table tennis and Chess board. The office has 2 floors with 3 wide spaces. HR and Admin is always there for any help. It has an open door policy, you can connect to any manager or general manager by walk-in to their desk or cabin and saying Hello!. Though it has more than 15 depts, each Ingrammite is approachable and shares a good bond if you connect with them anywhere even in a washroom, Hahaha!. The crowd is amazing here and shares knowledge. In townhalls you would meet senior management and encourages suggestions in the open forum and get acknowledged You will get to learn immense information about the business which is into Distribution, logistics, mobility, ITAD and cloud services. They come up with various new projects which are game changers in the market. Ingram Micro is one of distributors of Apple and distributor of choice for all IT hardware manufacturers like Dell, Lenovo, Fortinet, HP and many other electronic hardware companies. Even they distribute Electronics like pen drives, fans, lights, sewing machines, monitors, TVs, amazon sticks etc. You name them, they have it. It is one of biggest companies in the US and has several offices and facilities in the world. I am not boosting about the company as an advertisement but this is a real feeling I had working with the company. Though there were a few things which I didn't like hence I left. But overall the company is very good and considered best of females and new mothers. The work-life balance is excellent and the cultural activities celebrated here lightens the mood. Many opportunities to face new Challenges which helps one to grow. On weekends they do no do prod deployment except a few teams at the last saturday of the month. As many have Weekday deployments with hyper care period once a month Follows Scrum methodology in all projects and has all relevant tools for development and testing and sprint planning. Food coupons are provided if opted for. Sports events and grand Annual day party happens once a year. One gets opportunities in sports activities and annual day. I have participated in both for last 7 years. There is also 1 zumba session once a month. Apart from that there are LinkedIn and Udemy free subscriptions along with other learning apps. Every Friday they have fitness sessions online on zoom or youtube for 1 hour. Everyone can register and if free from work, one can join or extend their duties to manage work priorities. In 2023, Ingram Micro participated in Tata Mumbai marathon as a company. and they also do a range of CSR activities. Induction process in Ingram happens for 2 days for new joinees once a month. They recruit freshers from Engg. colleges with a count of above 30 every year and provide 2 month of intensive training. Common on processes and technology for all and project specific on joining the respective project. It is the best company for freshers to start as an IT or computer graduate will get to work in the leading technology in the market. One gets loyalty bonus after 3, 5 and 7 years on completion of service. Office is located near the Kanjurmarg West railway station and head office is at Vikhroli Gandhi nagar.
