Pros

I have really enjoyed my time at ILPA so far. The leadership is incredibly supportive, always encouraging us to grow and develop while still maintaining a healthy work-life balance. I'm encouraged to take breaks and use my vacation time. This focus on well-being contributes to a fun and enjoyable work environment where it is easy to feel valued and motivated.

Cons

While the company excels in many areas, there are occasional opportunities to improve communication flow between departments to enhance collaboration even further.

Pros

My time at ILPA was incredibly positive. I’ve felt very well supported throughout my role, with managers who not only encouraged me but also actively helped me grow professionally. Their guidance, feedback, and investment in my development gave me the tools and confidence to take on new challenges and strengthen my skill set. There’s been a noticeable shift toward stronger collaboration, clearer communication, and a more positive, inclusive environment overall. Once Jen Choi became the CEO, the workplace culture critiques in past Glassdoor reviews were openly addressed, and genuine change was made, using employee feedback. To her credit as a great CEO, these changes have made it easier to do great work while also feeling genuinely valued as part of the team. Overall, ILPA has been a place where I’ve grown both personally and professionally, and I’m grateful for the opportunities and support I’ve received here.

Cons

I sincerely enjoyed my time at ILPA and do not have anything negative to say.

Pros

- Aspirational organization constantly focused on delivering member value with an increasing emphasis on expanded global impact. - A highly driven environment but accommodates work-life balance that respects personal time while still achieving organizational goals. - A concerted effort placed by leaders on strengthening the organization’s culture and employee experience. - Competitive compensation and benefits package that stands out among peers in the non-profit and trade association sector.

Cons

- Growing pains albeit expected as the organization navigates rapid staff expansion and globalization. - Operational systems and policies that haven't fully caught up with the pace of organizational growth. - Occasional communication challenges and shifting priorities as new initiatives launch simultaneously. - Would benefit from an across the enterprise re-evaluation of team by team operating models to maximize efficiencies.
