Pros

Intel is a large, diverse company that can provide growth opportunities for people with varied career goals. They are very open to letting employees change jobs when it provides growth opportunities. It is very rewarding to be part of a project that can potentially change the world. Most of the groups I have been on are filled with great, fun-loving individuals.

Cons

Like any large corporation, Intel has it's share of bureaucracy that is sometimes frustrating to deal with. Also, it is sometimes difficult to remove an under qualified employee once he / she has been at Intel for over a year.
