Management love to leverage negative feedback instead of showing their employees how to do things better. Many people leave after 1-2 years, or even less. I have seen 8-10 employees on the doctor level and wellness Coordinator level leave all within the first 5-6 months of working there.
We are expected to cover clinics on the drop of a dime without any heads up. They require 60 days in advance for you to request time off for vacation. And even if you are sick you STILL have to find coverage for yourself in advance. If you don't do what the managers want, they will gaslight you in meetings and treat you horribly. They don't understand how to treat their employees with respect. There's a better way to say things without frustrating the people who work under you.
Most of the time these clinic locations are not nearby to the main clinic that we work at, so for example I was asked to cover for Gilroy when I am based in San Jose, with hardly any compensation. They will cover only 60% of your gas fee and will only start counting miles FROM the home location that you work at, not your actual home where we leave work from. I have been promised multiple times for compensation when it comes to previous car trips that I have made, and I still never got any gift card or compensation. They love to dangle it in front of you to promise but will never fulfill the promise later.
