Pros

Stated Mission and ability to impact the lives of all people who want a family is why I joined this company.

Cons

1. Disconnected Leadership 2. Elevating employees inappropriate for the position 3. Allowing Bullying. 4. Money oriented instead of people and patient oriented 5. Horrible communication. 6. Corporate Merger led to unfair employee downsizing without leadership input at the clinic level. 7. Allowing lazy emoyees to stay while letting go top notch staff. 8. Lucrative hiring promises followed by no raises, elimination of 401k match, and intimidation based leadership 9. Promoting a "party culture" (alcohol at in house events and dinners) without taking into consideration employees in recovery. 10. Huge cuts while senior leaders post glamorous photos on Instagram of conference attendance and socializing. 11. Expecting site clinic leaders to work every weekend, late hrs, take call without compensation and then scolding them for taking on too much while trying to do a good job 12. Senior leadership is totally disconnected until a crisis, then fly in to "save the day"

Pros

- remote for non-clinic staff

Cons

I’m not sure where to start!!! I have been here for a very long time and have seen multiple rounds of layoffs. They keep letting the bottom line go to cut costs and not add additional hands. Teams are short staffed, overworked and burnt out but guess what, they will not even reward employees who actually work hard. It’s almost the price you pay for staying loyal to the company. Favors will be pulled if you are friends with the higher ups. No work life balance. If you are someone whose sole purpose in life is to work and feel stressed/ lose sleep, then this is perfect. The company was great until 2023 and has been terrible ever since. It was a different company back then and I spoke so highly of kindbody until then. The work culture and environment is so toxic and negative and this caused the turnover to be very high as well. They keep lying about the financial health of the company. COMPLETE SHITSHOW!!!
