Pros
Hard to think of many Pros, the new leadership and executive have completely changed the culture of the organisation, it used to be able ‘good jobs for Australians’, ‘Kinetic IT is a family’ and ‘mate-ship’ now it’s just profit.
Cons
I was told (when leaving due to redundancy) that the new Exec want Kinetic IT to grow, grow, grow and to be like an IBM. Profit, profit, profit. My role wasn’t profitable enough. I appreciate it’s a business and money and growth are important but it’s USP was that KIT wasn’t like an IBM, it wasn’t just about profit. Staff were always told that the priority was to ‘do the right thing’ and the P&L was managed up the chain. Now they have lost that and with it many of the people that made it a good, and indeed successful place to work. I haven’t seen a major (big) new win for Kinetic in a good few years, funnily enough not since the good folks started leaving and the culture was redirected.
