Pros

Kiwibank is a fabulous place to work. I have had so many opportunities to learn and grow and work with fantastic people. I can be myself and I am valued for who I am and my whole self - not just what I do at work. It is a fun workplace and I have never worked in any other workplace where the people all want to do what's right for our customers and make a difference for New Zealand.

Cons

As the company is still young - there are not the same structures, processes and systems that a mature (old fashioned) bank has. I love this but for those who like structure and ingrained processes and clear direction - then this workplace would not suit you.

1. can be quite a toxic environment. favouritism. 2. too many meetings, presenting to each other. 3. too much focus on branding and presenting an 'all singing and all dancing' environment to external and internal audience.

Not as many global opportunities Limited overseas roles or international career paths. Change and restructuring Like many banks, teams may experience restructures or shifting priorities.
