Pros

I wish there was one, but genuinely none

Cons

This is one of the most toxic, abusive, irrational, insane, outdated companies and working cultures I have ever been in in my entire life, and I have seen many. Ownership/Upper Management are openly racist, sexist, verbally abusive, incredibly unprofessional and inappropriate. They are locked in a 1970s mentality of both work culture and of product, they literally have no idea what they are doing or how to treat people, and they have absolutely no interest in acknowledging wrongdoing or in considering change. They have had ten different designers in as many years, which really says it all. On top of terrible people in a hostile environment, they expect long unproductive hours of a minimum of 7am-5pm, non-negotiable attendance at ‘special events’ nearly every other Saturday, and the worst health benefit package I have ever seen (part-time workers at national coffee chains have significantly better health care packages.). Anyone looking for their first break at an entry-level design job, even if you are local to the area of this company and this is the only option you have, do not take it. This will be a major blemish on your resume and an incredibly difficult professional experience to swallow.
