Pros

-Allow you to venture into new territory ...with of course expectation of making money -Casual work attire -Free lunch at the end of each month -Usually leave around 3:30pm on Fridays for happy hour -Young trading crowd who are relatable

Cons

-Pie in the sky idea of huge bonuses - typically the upper managements main pitch -LACK of leadership from every stage of the company -"Loc Managers" are merely traders who found a niche and were successful. Half of them are not management material -Upper management (VP's) give little direction and are extremely cold people. Only time they talk to you is if there is a problem -The mentality of Lansing is to induce fear into their employees...produce or be let go -Company has lost a lot of good traders in the past 2 years and I think they will continue that trend -They don't value their employees - rather the bottom line. -There is no training by Loc Managers...again...because they aren't managers

Pros

You eat what you kill, spectacular bonus potential. Leading the way in how traders will be comped in the future.

Cons

Management has an old boys culture. The company grew spectacularly fast, but because of that, management have very homogeneous expertise, and anything outside of truck and train trading is alien to them.

Pros

Trader Incentive is probably the best in the industry. If you have a profitable business/strategy...this is the place that will pay you for it. A lot of freedom to execute your trade ideas and initiate business development.

Cons

No organizational structure for the trade group causing traders to crossover into each others markets consistently battling for pennies. Not progressive on investing in the existing businesses, growth only seems to be coming from acquiring. Besides the CEO, rest of management has no vision or direction for the group, most of them are over paid and over political seat warmers.
