Large Number SpEd/504 Studs: Little Support - Middle School Science Teacher Leading Edge Academy Employee Review

Large number of special ed/504 students: up to 1/3 in one group of 25 in classroom that should fit 20 max. Hired last quarter of SY 2023-2024 to cover for teacher who had little stud behavior support. In interview, I was told that I'd have 2-3 sped/504 max per group! Ineffective curriculum manual for teacher w/NO textbooks for studs. Teacher must find course materials online for science. Because of limited space, labs limited to teacher's demos, if at all. Insurance very expensive (employee = $150/pp) w/$5K deductible. Not all earnings paid up-front; lump sum in June instead.
