No transparency within the hiring process - Middle Office Analyst Leonteq Securities Employee Review

Hiring managers and HR are not transparent with the work schedule expectations during the hiring process. I thought I would be working a normal corporate schedule and after starting found that I am expected to work a very unusual and inconvenient schedule until past 19:00 most days and past 22:00 for what is supposed to be 1 week per month, but it is always more often than that. Management states they also follow these schedule guidelines, which is not true, as they are never working until past 22:00. I am also expected to work on many public holidays to provide coverage for the team. These are things that should be communicated to applicants during the hiring process. Pay and benefits are less than average for the work schedule expectations. If you have a family and want a work-life balance, this is not the job/company for you.
