Pros

As you can see from past reviews, this agency was not living up to professional and ethical standards. I am pleased to say that the agency has progressed immensely for the past 2 years. They are also encouraging feedback from employees and taking it all into consideration. They have provided me with: -Bonuses -Consistent raises -Trainings (fees covered) -Professional support/direction -Clinical supervision (no contract required) -Encouragement and appreciation -Opportunities to share my thoughts about the company/how they can improve -The choice to sign a contract in exchange for tuition reimbursement (up to $25,500) -Consistent referrals for my caseload (99% of my clients have been offered to me by Life Connections) -A director that is always advocating for the Therapists

Cons

Although progress has been made, I do believe there is room for more changes: -Adequate health insurance/benefits -Organization- having an effective and consistent process for how things are done -Pay/benefits and trainings for BHIS providers- These employees are not provided with adequate compensation or benefits. The work that these providers do is tough and extremely important for the families. Lacking proper incentive and training for this position causes high turnover and inadequate/incompetent providers. This leaves the agency desperate for providers, resulting in the agency being unable to hold the providers to professional and ethical standards. -Enforcing expectations/policies and holding everyone to the same standards. -Less paperwork/busy work- some of it is just unnecessary. Having too much busy work causes providers to be less effective in their direct work with clients.
