Pros

Talented and great people with a mission focus. Very strong company brand. Comprehensive total compensation program. Excellent HR tools and talented workforce that drives performance and personal growth. Strong training programs and a significant focus on talent acquisition and engagement. Leadership focus.

Cons

Lack of transparency with respect to Talent Management Plan. Difficult to understand career trajectory -- several career development programs in place and strong performance management systems, but disjointed strategic workforce planning over the past several years has resulted in elimination of jobs in one business unit and lack of redeployment of talent to other business units with hiring requirements. More focus on transparency in talent management should be next step. Also, expand incentive compensation to lower levels in the company.

Pros

High level of integrity throughout the company, open communications, and sincere interest in doing the right thing.

Cons

Unfortunately, I need to come up with twenty words of cons. When in reality after 41+ years in IT, I have no cons for Lockheed Martin. They are not perfect, but highly acceptable.
