Pros

The staff at Louis Burger are some of the best people I've worked with. They will stay as long as it takes through the hours of the day to meet a deadline and get the project done. Unfortunately, that happens all too often. Direct supervisors are generally supportive of their staff. I would say that half of the senior management team, the multitude of vice presidents that inhabit the hallways, are not as interested in their staff's success.

Cons

Senior management is incapable to communicate to the staff what the goals are for the company. It's actually difficult to understand what the format of the company is as there is a reorganization almost every year. New automated systems are put into place often; however, training is minimal and generally occurs a few days before the system is going to place or, more often than not, after the systems are in place. This makes for a very steep learning curve and just adds to the general inefficiency of Louis Burger. Benefits are some of the worst I've ever had. Annual salary increases are in the range of 1 to 3%, and that's even after you have put in 50 to 60 hours a week, managed projects better than anyone else, and won huge contracts. Avoid like the plague.
