Pros

The lighting department is strong HoD is one of the best people I've ever worked with - extremely knowledgeable and truly cares about his team Department Manager is very organized A lot of room to improve and grow - good career opportunities Mid-size teams Toronto studio is known for its long-term relationship with Guillermo del Toro so there are some good creatures/monsters-based projects. Long term contracts Ability to move across departments if you decide to change

Cons

the pipeline is a bit messy smaller projects, mainly TV shows and some features ( if someone is looking for a major feature and cares about projects a lot ) salary is a bit lower than competitors forced hybrid work policy ( min 3 days in a studio ) they don't do any major social/season events - no Christmas party etc ( 2021-2022 )
